Bridging impact & analytics

I am a programme and enterprise development professional with a strong foundation in data analytics and business strategy. My experience spans multi-country development programs, cooperative systems, and enterprise advisory, where I have worked closely with women-led businesses, financial institutions, and government stakeholders. Over the years, I have supported the growth of over 10,000 enterprises, managed multimillion-dollar funding programs, and contributed to improving financial inclusion across diverse communities.

Currently pursuing a Master's in Business Analytics, I focus on bridging the gap between data and decision-making. I leverage tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. My work emphasizes measurable impact, optimizing operations, improving resource allocation, and enabling data-driven growth strategies. I am particularly interested in applying analytics to solve real-world challenges in enterprise systems, financial inclusion, and scalable business models.

Problem

HW Dental is experiencing rapid growth across multiple branches but lacks clear visibility into which marketing channels, patient segments, and geographic areas are most effective in driving patient acquisition.

Data Journey

4,546 new patients across four branches analysed across demographic, insurance, referral, and geographic dimensions. Data cleaned, standardised, and enhanced through feature engineering including age grouping and referral categorisation.

Solution

R-based exploratory analysis with feature-engineered variables and referral grouping breakdowns. Interactive Power BI dashboard visualising patient acquisition by branch, channel, and segment.

Impact

Targeted recommendations to optimise marketing channel allocation, improve acquisition efficiency, enhance demographic targeting, and support sustainable multi-branch growth through data-driven decisions.

Technical & Visual Artifacts

Analytical evidence

The following visualizations demonstrate pivot-table analysis and data storytelling across marketing, demographic, and geographic dimensions.

Finding 1: Marketing Channel Effectiveness — grouped bar chart comparing six acquisition channels across four HW Dental branches
Bar Chart · Pivot Table Analysis
Finding 1: Marketing Channel Effectiveness
Grouped bar chart comparing six referral channels across all four branches. Digital and Word-of-Mouth account for the majority of patient acquisition, while some channels remain significantly underutilised — signalling where to focus and cut spend.
Finding 3: Geographic & Demographic Patterns — top 10 cities by patient volume with ZIP code cross-tabulation
Bar Chart · Pivot Table Analysis
Finding 3: Geographic & Demographic Patterns
Top 10 cities by patient volume with a cross-tabulated ZIP code breakdown by branch. Columbus leads with 1,938 patients. Branches draw from distinct catchment clusters, revealing low-volume areas near existing locations as expansion opportunities.
Finding 2: Spanish-Speaking Patient Reach — stacked bar chart by branch with stat callouts
Bar Chart · Categorical Aggregation
Finding 2: Spanish-Speaking Patient Reach
Stat callouts and stacked bar chart show 1,108 high-likelihood Spanish-speaking patients — 24% of the total base. Westerville leads with 655, highlighting a replicable cultural outreach model worth scaling to Clintonville and Polaris.
Finding 2 cont'd: Medicaid Patient Distribution — grouped bar chart by branch
Bar Chart · Categorical Aggregation
Finding 2 (cont'd): Medicaid Patient Distribution
Grouped bar chart disaggregating Non-Medicaid, Medicaid, and Unclassified patients by branch. Sawmill stands out as a high-Medicaid location (1,038 patients) and a replicable model. Unclassified records highlight a data quality issue affecting 27% of insurance data.
